Mr. Klewans has over thirty years of experience in a broad range of business transactions representing a wide variety of businesses, both public and private, and professional practices on a local, state, regional and national level, including mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of businesses and professional practices, joint ventures, commercial contracts, corporate control contests and general corporate commercial representation in all aspects of business and professional practices from start-ups to publicly held companies.

Possessing an extensive knowledge of business and business law, Mr. Klewans is one of few attorneys in the Washington Metropolitan area devoting a significant amount of his time to resolving medical and dental business practice issues.  Additionally, Mr. Klewans has also acted as a business broker (not for medical or dental practices).  Mr. Klewans knows the ins and outs of business; he assesses challenges, resolves problems and evaluates outcomes.  He carefully formulates and executes the optimal solution for his client's and their business.

Mr. Klewans was a Law Clerk for the Honorable Oren R. Lewis, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps.
