For over 15 years Mr. Bowen has represented clients in all aspects of structuring and operating businesses, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, employment issues, and general corporate and commercial representation. Additionally, he has represented privately- and publicly-held businesses, professional practices, and hospitals, as well as computer software companies and businesses that create and use intellectual property.

Mr. Bowen works with physicians and medical practices with respect to all aspects of forming and operating a business, preparation of stockholder and employment agreements, negotiating contracts and similar documents-including the sale, purchase, merger and acquisition of medical practice groups.

Mr. Bowen also advises medical practice groups concerning compliance with fraud and abuse, and Federal Stark regulations. Mr. Bowen also regularly advises business clients concerning intellectual property issues, including licensing and protection of intellectual property, trademark and copyright issues. Mr. Bowen served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy as a naval flight officer from 1977 to 1985.
